Seeking Serendipity

in Positive Events

The word, “serendipity” describes unexpected fortunate discovery. Good luck, positive surprises, and accidental breakthroughs fit into this category. These all describe things that we did not directly anticipate and were not working to achieve.

Part of good luck is simply staying alert and being able to maximize the effects of positive results. Staying alert means knowing what is possible even though it may not seem likely and keeping attention on the areas where the possibilities might materialize. If we aren’t watching, we won’t see opportunities. Once an opportunity does appear, we must be ready and able to grasp it and use it to our best advantage.

It IS possible to seek serendipity and work toward a methodology to actively find opportunity and maximize positive effects.
